Are you taking enough of Protein?

Protein Protein is an essential macro nutrient but you may not need as much as you think and not all food sources of protein are created equal. The basics about protein and shaping your diet with healthy protein foods can be listed below. Diet Plan for Protein: Monday Breakfast:  3 eggs, Aslice of whole grain toast with almond butter and a pear. Lunch:   Fresh Avocado and Cottage Cheese Salad  and an orange. Dinner:  6 ounces steak, sweet potato and grilled zucchini. Tuesday Breakfast:  Smoothie made with 1 scoop protein powder, 1 cup coconut milk and strawberries. Lunch:   4 ounces canned salmon, mixed greens, olive oil, vinegar and an apple. Dinner:  4 ounces grilled chicken with quinoa and Brussels sprouts. Wednesday Breakfast:  Oatmeal and one cup plain Greek yogurt with chopped pecans. Lunch:  4 ounces chicken mixed with avocado and red bell pepper and a peach. Dinner:   Meat, Veggie Chili  and

RACE TO DEVELOP A CORONAVIRUS VACCINE

Image
Corona viruses have caused two other recent epidemics severe acute respiratory syndrome (Sars) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (Mers). An essential precursor to regulatory approval is Clinical trials which usually take place in three phases. The first is involving a few dozen healthy volunteers, tests the vaccine. The second is involving several hundred people who are usually in a part of the world affected by the disease and the third does the same in several thousand people. COVID-19 is new and scientists understand to some extent about how it behaves and spreads. The cost of creating a vaccine to protect people against the new corona virus will run into billions of dollars and could take many months. Here are some of the reasons why. •            COVID-19 vaccine time to get into the market is likely to be at least 18 months. •            Potential treatments require testing and funding. •            International organizations are helping to fund research. STRUCTURE, FUNCTION AND EVOLUTION OF CORONA VIRUS SPIKE PROTEINS

What does Corona Virus Mean? Coronavirus  derives from the Latin which means Crown, as it is in shape of a sphere but covered in spikes, which resembles a crown. It has emerged from the Wuhan in China. As it continues to spread around the world, scientists are striving to develop ways of fighting this previously unknown threat. Computer Modelling is being used to track and predict its transmission, while virologists are attempting to engineer a vaccine while others are seeking drug treatments that can help those who fall ill with the infection. Coronavirus belong to a large group of viruses that can infect both humans and animals and can occasionally jump the species barrier. But while the first cases likely occurred in people who had close contact with infected animals, it seems that most new cases from this 2019-nCoV are being passed human to human. Some of the most common and challenging diseases are caused by coronaviruses. One of the viruses that causes the Common

Protein Engg Meet 2020 is an opportunity to meet and network with renowned speakers, Doctors, Experts, Scholars, pharmacologists, Researchers   and the associated health experts from around the world and listen to top speakers on new development that will advance the researches of Protein Engineering. How protein helps in Human health? Protein engineering enables the development of novel proteins aimed at disease diagnosis, alleviation and improved health attributes. It provides an overview of recent approaches and techniques used to modify proteins at diverse levels, which find therapeutically relevant applications. There will be an immense interest among researchers to discover new and valuable solutions for various health related issues and protein engineering could be a possible to sort out such problems. Proteins are busy protecting the body against foreign invaders inside every living cell by catalyzing chemical reactions, transmitting signals across cells and organs
